Large Steam Vaporizer
What is a naturally-convected ambient air vaporizer?
It is a piece of equipment, one of essential components with a storage tank for gas services, that uses thermally conductive aluminum to interconnect star fin-tubes and vaporizes liquid gas through heat exchange between liquid gas and ambient air.
Strengths
- It requires small area and generates almost no fog.

Weaknesses
- Because it uses steam, it incurs fuel expense and generates a large amount of condensate.
Applications
- Conglomerates (electronics, steel, oil refinery), large scale (500Nm3/hr ~ 100,000Nm3/hr)
