Large Ambient Air Vaporizer
What is a naturally-convected ambient air vaporizer?
It is a piece of equipment, one of essential components with a storage tank for gas services, that uses thermally conductive aluminum to interconnect star fin-tubes and vaporizes liquid gas through heat exchange between liquid gas and ambient air.
Strengths
- It doesn’t require any other utilities so that it is easy to maintain and use. In addition, any expense associated with reinspection will not incur.
Weaknesses
- If a vaporizer is continuously operated, ice will be formed due to heat exchange, which will deteriorate the efficiency. It is recommended to install two vaporizers in parallel and operates one at a time. Thus, it requires more area than a forced vaporizer.
